Ststiseg Se (Ststi /seg/ [discussion] [orgasm]) is a subtropical Town located in the Tewqàrbedbù County of the Picham Community.

The name Ststiseg Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Ststiseg Se was founded by Synfelis Leyshon, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Ststiseg Se has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Ststiseg Se receives an average of 257 cm/y (101 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Ststiseg Se covers an area of nearly 4 km² (1 mi²), and an average elevation of 1702 m (5583 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Ststiseg Se was founded durring the late 16th century in spring of the year 1486, by Synfelis Leyshon. The establishment of Ststiseg Se was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Synfelis Leyshon electing to pay people to resettle in Ststiseg Se.

Ststiseg Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ststiseg Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Ststiseg Se is is constructed arround a series of narrow packed earth mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. The bare minimum defences has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Ststiseg Se is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.

Civic Infrastructure

Ststiseg Se has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Ststiseg Se.

Ststiseg Se has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Ststiseg Se has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Ststiseg Se has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Ststiseg Se has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Ststiseg Se's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Ststiseg Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Ststiseg Se has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Ststiseg Se has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Ststiseg Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

In Ststiseg Se there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.

The Gremlin near Ststiseg Se are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Ststiseg Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves gestures to channel Necromancy energies of tier 1 via chanting.

Economy

Different factions of the community might be trying to grasp at the remaining dregs of wealth, others might try to restart the failed industry, and some might look for a new livelihood. Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century a local hero by the name of saved most of the town when a natural disaster struck Ststiseg Se. Ststiseg Se created a local delicacy in 's honor which is served at festivals.
